The Capricorns - The New Sound
This song was passed on to me a couple years ago and somehow, I
recently had the presence of mind to remember it. I don't really get
who this band is, the song and the band kinda came out of nowhere
and I've never really heard anything about them since then, though
they have kind of an extensive history and touring schedule on their
site.
Based in Chicago now, The Capricorns make fun casio music that
isn't really ironic or retro-it's just timeless, party music. From the
dracula organs to the "party with the hip kids" lyrics it's just nonstop
fun. Be prepared you're gonna wanna shake it and you're not gonna
be able to listen to it just once.
