Whore....

Cheap Trick - He's A Whore

This is taken from the album Cheap Trick first released in 1977 and re-mastered here by Bruce Dickinson who also re-mastered the Stooges album Raw Power a few years ago.

The bass playing on this is up there with John Entwistles playing on My Generation, very similar style in places I think.

Corking song, especially when it picks up towards the end.

This for me is the stand out track on the album, most of the other songs tend to sound a bit stilted compared to this....

But then most songs would to be honest.

Colourbox - Baby I Love You So

Colourbox were probably better known as one half of M.A.R.R.S along with the excellent A.R. Kane, together having the massive one time only collaboration groundbreaking hit "Pump Up The Volume" in 1987.

This track though is taken from their last single released as Colourbox in 1986...

It's a lovely little Dubby Ennio Morricone Sci-Fi type tune that they were quite fond of... and so am I.

Luckily all the singles and a good smattering of album tracks have been lovingly compiled onto the Best Of 82/87 album.
