20 Seconds To Reply....

Silver Bullet - 20 Seconds To Comply

This is a storming full on British rap track from 1989.

I remember being in a club and hearing his first single (Bring Forth The Guillotine) at ear bursting volume, and it completely blew me away, so I instantly ran out and bought it (well the next day anyway!).

20 Seconds To Comply (his second offering) also had the same effect.....

I had to wait a full 2 years though for his debut album "Break Down The Wall's, No Limit Squad Returns" (1991, for those who can't be bothered doing the math), but to be honest it was totally worth the wait... It's almost faultless, I'd put it up there with "In Fear of A Black Planet" by Public Enemy for the best two full on rap albums I've heard (coincidently Silver Bullet was the support for Public Enemy on the FOABP tour... how good would that have been??? and why didn't I get of my arse and go and watch it???).

Sadly though the above mentioned singles and album are really difficult to get hold of now...

And I think that's a real shame as they are all true gems.

Silver Bullet has now changed his name to Silvah Bullet and has been recording again,

Check out the "se7en" 10" from earlier this year on Control Tower Records.

The Freelance Hairdresser - You Suffer At A Gay Bar

This is one of my favorite bootlegs of all time....

Take Napalm Death's "You Suffer" and add a quick blast of Electric Six's "Gay Bar"....

Hey presto.... the shortest bootleg of all time, never fails to raise a smile.

Check out some of his other Mash-ups, especially "Marshall's Been Done To Death", which melds Eminem with a whole bunch of T.V. theme tunes, the best bit is at the end with Benny Hill...

Sorry to be rude, infact no i'm not, silver bullets tracks are hard, 20 seconds to comply will never die! 'He's an addict an abuser' where do you get this info - Silvah Bullet is a top geeze from my home town. You're obviously not old skool and most definitely a prick. Pick up your white gloves and p**s off. Crank them all up daily. Cheese
