Shoegaze, Texas Style = Starrgaze

Ringo Deathstarr - Sweet Girl

This is a track taken from Ringo Deathstarr's debut release that's out today on SVC Records as download only. It's an EP and it's called 'Ringo Deathstarr'... natch!
And it will be delivered directly to your hard drive for the measly sum of two of your pounds. Cheap at twice the price!

The EP will also be released on October 29th on CD and iTunes and all the other digital download sites, this will coincide with Ringo Deathstarr's support slots for the very lovely Dandy Warhols.

Ringo Deathstarr hail from Austin, Texas, and have been around for a couple of years. After having several line-up changes they have settled on the noisesome foursome of...
Elliott Frazier - guitar and vocals
Alex Gehring - bass and vocals
Dustin Gaudet - drums
Renan McFarland - guitar

They have been likened to My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus & Mary Chain, The Telescopes, The Lilys and Drop Nineteens amongst others, so I guess you might have a little idea what they sound like... Shoegaze, Texas style.
The Austin Chronicle coined the phrase 'Starrgaze' for them.

Spot on.
