Primal Bunny...

Unbunny - Snow Tires
God I love getting stuff sent to me... usually it's not too good though sadly, but please keep sending stuff!!!
But this is far from crap!!!
Anyway, Marc Robot got the same album last week and posted a couple of tracks from it... but I like it so much I thought I'd throw in my two penn'orth.
I don't generally like comparing bands to other bands as having being in bands for a huge part of my life I used to get sick of "Ohh, Who do you sound like" and having to grudgingly name someone even though I would usually like to have said NO-ONE now leave me alone...
The overriding feel I get from listening to Unbunny's album is a lovely hybrid between Grandaddy, Sparklehorse, Smog and of course Neil Young (as mentioned by the aforementioned Mark), I apologies to Unbunny if this offends in any way... but seeing as I pretty much love all of those bands I can honestly say that I mean it as a compliment.
The album is also called Snow Tires (you can also listen to the whole album here... Take 27 minutes out and give it a listen... then buy it!) and is released on Hidden Agenda records which is part of the Parasol umbrella (sorry for that!)

Primal Scream - I'm Losing More Than I'll Ever Have
And now back to 1989 for some fond memories.
This is taken from Primal Scream's second album which is entitled Primal Scream...
I wasn't a particularly big fan of their debut album "Sonic Flower Groove" I was kind of hoping for something a lot darker from the former Jesus And Mary Chain Moe Tucker inspired drummer, but when this was released I changed my mind about them, the overall feel of the album is generally a lot moodier, especially the track "Your Just Dead Skin To Me"...
But I decided to opt for this slightly more uplifting track which was remixed the following year by Andy Weatherall and re-titled Loaded which set Primal Scream on a whole different course and world domination (well almost) with "Screamadelica".

Just in case anyone hasn't noticed the new addition to the side bar...
SVC Radio is now up and running most nights and weekends, or whenever I remember to leave it on...
Give it a go, there's all the tracks that have been posted here, nearly 14 hours worth of quality tunes brought to you in a wonderful 56k mono format...
Don't let that put you off though...
It doesn't sound too bad...
Honest!
