Spoilt Victorian Child... 100 And Counting

Spoilt Victorian Child was dragged kicking and screaming into this world at approximately 12:09 p.m. on the 23rd of June.....

Since then there have been 99 tracks posted.

Seeing as there are a lot more people reading nowadays I thought I'd list them.

So if there's anything you missed that you would love to hear drop me a line or just mention it in the comments and I'll upload it again for you for a couple of days...

(obviously I can't do too many... so first come first served IM afraid)

Also don't forget to find the post and visit any links there may be.

And that bring us right up to date.....

It dawned on me a couple of weeks ago that I'd never posted a Fall track...

and that's surprising as they're one of my favourite bands... and the blog is named after one of their songs....

And here it is,

SVC-100 ~ The Fall - Spoilt Victorian Child(ah!)

Taken from possibly their best album (although this is always hotly debated) This Nation's Saving Grace.... Brilliant.

I love The Fall and pretty much everything they've done, but I also understand that they are that sort of band you Love or Hate....

I also think they're one of the most influential bands over the last quarter of a century... Go and buy 50,000 Fall Fans Can't Be Wrong: 39 Golden Greats and find out for yourself, this is the most comprehensive collection out there as it covers all periods and all the labels they've been on.... Excellent stuff.

The Fall did their 24th Peel session on Thursday night....

which can be found at The Fall Multimedia Project(ah!), which features a great version of The Move's I Can Hear The Grass Grow

Visit - The Fall Official Website(ah!)

Well I've enjoyed it so far, hope you have too...

Here's to the next 100

Cheers

Simon
